Orange Oil

Orange essential oil is derived from the peel of the Citrus sinensis, commonly known as the sweet orange. The extraction process employed is referred to as cold pressing, wherein pressure is applied to effectively extract the oils from the peel.

It is incorporated into numerous beauty products, such as lotions, shampoos, acne treatments, and mouthwashes, due to its possession of antibacterial properties and a robust, invigorating fragrance. It is recognized as an enhancer of immunity. Limonene, a monocyclic monoterpene found in orange peel oil, serves as a potent safeguard against oxidative stress, which can detrimentally impact our immune systems. Additionally, it functions as a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent.
